Tau Zeta Chapter
Tau Zeta is the Washington State University chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha. Established as a chapter in 1914, Tau Zeta is one of Lambda Chi Alpha's oldest and longest continuously operating chapter. Prior to becoming a part of Lambda Chi Alpha, the local chapter was a known as Tolo Club. The chapter quickly grew from a small group of college students to a large and prominent chapter on the campus of Washington State College. In 1934, the initiated members of Tau Zeta acquired a house at 910 NE Colorado St. on the eastern edge of College Hill in Pullman, a mere footsteps from the center of campus. The four-story, historic house continues to serve the members of Tau Zeta.
With more than 2,000 initiated members, Tau Zeta has a long history of academic excellence, leadership on campus, and an institution that offers a dynamic collegiate experience. There are currently over 100 active members in Tau Zeta and a dedicated group of alumni advisors that offer guidance and career advice to the chapter.
